My name is Johannes Martens and I am a member of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra.
This Rugieri cello, although I am only borrowing it, is almost as dear to me as a family member. Her beauty, both for the ears and the eyes, as well as all the secret stories she holds from her 332 years long life, fills me with wonder, love and admiration.
To make the cello sound as close to how it originally sounded as possible, I have put on handmade strings of lamb gut.
