Room 55 presents Nordic sculpture from 1830 to 1890. During this period, sculptors were inspired by classical forms, Biblical characters and scenes, portraits and subjects from Nordic mythology. In the room, the public can participate in a digital drawing activity and learn about proportions, volume and three-dimensional form. The drawings can also be shared on a large screen in the room. Digital drawing is part of a research project at the National Museum.
