The Collection Presentation:

  • Displayed on the 1st and 2nd floors in over 80 rooms
  • Covers a historical span of nearly 3,000 years
  • Includes over 6,500 works from the entire collection
  • The presentation is regularly changing in connection with events such as loans, new exhibitions, and conservation
  • Rooms 1–18 (1st floor): Design before 1900
  • Rooms 19–31 (1st floor): Design and crafts from 1900 to the present
  • Rooms 33–61 (2nd floor): Art from 1500 to 1900
  • Rooms 63–74 (2nd floor): Art from 1900 to 1960
  • Rooms 75–88 (2nd floor): Art from 1960 to the present
