Welcome to a captivating performance in The Pillars, where one of Norway's most prominent dance artists and choreographers, Jonas Øren, invites you into an artistic landscape characterised by glimpses of both grandeur and vulnerability.

How does a body reenact/mirror movements from the past in the present – and become enthralled by the reflection of a former, heightened self?

The work draws inspiration, amongst others, from the site-specific installation of Narcissus Garden (1966–) by world-renowned Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. The performance also features Torfi Tómasson, with costumes by Anne Karine Thorbjørnsen and music composed by Mats Høstaker (freij).

A ticket to the event also gives entry to all the museum’s exhibitions on the day of the event.
