The National Museum is pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition "Carroll Dunham. Where am I? Prints 1985–2022". 

The exhibition features a selection of works gifted by the American artist to the museum. The gift consists of 161 graphic works showing the artist's work with series, and contains several of his best known and iconic motifs. 

Dunham broke through as an artist in New York in the early 1980s, and is today internationally known for his paintings, drawings and graphics. His works contain references to art history, popular culture and personal experiences, and show a wide range of styles, motifs, themes and techniques. 

Programme

18.00–18.30: Doors open. Light refreshments. 

18.30–19.00: Welcoming address by the National Museum’s Director of Exhibitions and Collections, Stina Høgkvist, speech by Carroll Dunham, official opening by H.M. Queen Sonja.

19.00–21.00: Exhibition open for viewing in the Gallery of Prints and Drawings on Floor 2.

Artist Niels Munk Plum will perform his work «New Loop 6» throughout the night.

The doors close at 18.20.
