My name is Erlend Apneseth, and I work as a musician and composer. My background is from traditional music, but my musical identity is somewhere in between musical genres and styles.
I feel that I have learned a lot by playing this instrument - that is perhaps the thing I appreciate the most. I can be quite demanding to play, but then it also gives back twice as much when it works out. When it does, it offers a power and dynamic range that is rare to find.
