Loan fee and costs

For exhibition venues and museums outside of Norway, we charge a loan fee of NOK 6000, - for each artwork, which includes administration of the loan, conservation costs and condition report.

In addition, the Borrower covers the costs of insurance, rental of crates, shipping and costs associated with any courier services. This normally includes travel costs, hotel accommodation, local travel costs and per diem, which is based on the Norwegian authority’s foreign rate and is adjusted on a yearly basis.

Other costs may incur in connection with the loan. All costs will be agreed upon before the loan agreement is signed.
