Party in Residence

9. september 2016–10. september 2016

Gamle Museet
Dronningens gate 4, Oslo

The National Museum invites you to celebrate the opening of the Oslo Architecture Triennale and the exhibition “After Belonging. In Residence”! The party takes place in the former premises of the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, Dronningens gate 4. Welcome!

DJ Are Mokkelbost – artist, musician and composer – will keep you dancing all night. This year’s Triennale explores the ways we relate to places and people. Search no more. Come and find your sense of belonging at the Party In Residence. Free admission for all.

Don’t forget the roundtable discussion about (not) belonging at 6.30 pm in the National Museum – Architecture, and the open terrace, bar and DJ at the museum until 9 pm.

When the Astrup Fearnley Museum opened in 1993, this building, designed by LPO Architects, became home to some of Norway’s most valuable fine art, sculptures and installations. In 2012, the Astrup Fearnley Museum moved to Tjuvholmen. The former premises, with its nine meter-high ceilings, is now one of Oslo’s most distinctive party locations, offering a unique atmosphere and spaciousness.

Free admission. Bar and DJ.
