The collections comprise approximately 165,000 books, exhibition catalogues and reference works within the areas of older and contemporary visual art, the decorative arts, design, architecture and associated disciplines. The library also holds around 200 current periodicals, a DVD/video collection and a slide collection consisting of approximately 28,000 slides.
The library’s collections may be viewed on site. We have a reading room which seats 25 visitors and a dedicated DVD/video viewing room. Black and white and colour photocopying are available for a fee. Slides and DVDs/videos may be checked out for loan.
Public computers that can be used to search the internet and the library’s database are located in the library’s open area. The reading room has facilities which enable visitors to use their own laptops.
